“It [the Brigade] made me more confident in myself, to feel more secure in my environment… It helped me to be more empathetic, more autonomous…It helped me a lot to grow as a person because you acquire knowledge to defend yourself in society, because they tell you, “you are very small and you don’t know”, and they told me that and I told them, “yes I am small, but I know, I have already went to a lot of talks and I have records that support that I do know”.”
